- Won the Champions League in 2007-08 and been runners up twice in 2008-09, 2010-11.
- Won three Community Shields, 2007, 2008, 2010.
- Won the FIFA Club World Cup, 2008.
- Taken over from Liverpool as the most successful English club with 19 top flight titles.
- Have also surpassed Liverpool’s record of 58 trophies, with 59.
- Have had 3 different shirt sponsors in Vodafone, AIG and Aon.
- Have been named as the best supported club in Europe, with the highest average home attendance.
