Connor Wickham
The youngest first team players in Ipswich’s history at 16 years 11 days, and is tips to be the next Wayne Rooney in the making. A hat-trick 2 week ago for England U17 saw his suitor increasing their interest. So far, all the big 4 has expressed their interest in Wickham, can Roy Keane keep hands off his prized asset?

Antoine Griezmann
The french starlet has rejected the offer to remain in his homeland to play for Lyon, Saint-Etienne and Auxerre, to join Real Sociedad instead. He was immediately called up by first team directly upon joining the clubs without going through B team. He managed to break into the starting lineup at the age of 18 as he make his debut in the Sep 09.

Mesut Ozil
The 21 year old attacking midfielder already have 6 cap under his name for Germany. He joined Werder Bremen last Jan for 4.3m Euro at the age of 19, since then, he have been a regular in the Werder starting lineup. He had so far attract the interests from Arsenal and Sevilla, and his value is rated at 15m Euro now. He was reported rejecting new contract offer from Werder’s attempt and with just 18 months left in his contract, there will be a high chance Werder will part with him for a good amounts of money in January.

Nassim Ben Khalifa
The 17 year old starlet who impressed the world with his performance in U17 World Cup where he led Switzerland to lift the trophy for the first time after a 1-0 victory over Nigeria and has been awarded Silver Ball trophy in the tournament. He has attracted the interest of Arsenal, Aston Villa and Portsmouth while Barcelona and AC Milan scouts have also delivered glowing reports on the youngster. With his club, Grasshopper struggling with financial problems, he might be sold in January to relieve the financial problem.

Jeffren
The Barcelona winger is likely to leave Nou Camp in the January in order to seek for regular football. Both Arsenal and Racing Santander has expressed interest in the 21 year old winger. But Racing is more likely to be his destination as he look unlikely to be able to enter the first team of Arsenal right away.

Pablo Sarabia
The 17 year old starlets was describe to be the next Walcott who also operate in the left midfield, has the pace and dribbling skill. Wenger has already attempt to lure him away from Real Madrid before he turn 16 last year where in Spain, players cannot sign professional until they are 17. Although their previous attempt has fail, but look likely they are going to try again.

Manchester City manager Mark Hughes has draft out a list of players to strengthen his squad once the transfer market reopen. With his clubs draw 5 games in a row in the leagues, cause them to drop 10 points, they are now 10 points behind Chelsea with 1 games in hand. 1 area of concern will be the defence, as Man City conceded 14 goals in last 8 matches, if not for Given great form despite draw, they will concede even more goals.

Edin Dzeko
Dzeko has been a targets for Man City during the summer, where they fail to attract the Bosnia striker in joining them. Dzeko has bagged 26 goals last season for Wolfsburg, 2 goals behind topscorer Grafite from Wolfsburg too, to lead Wolfsburg in winning the Bundesliga for the first time in clubs history. Dzeko has bagged 8 goals for Wolfsburg in all competition this season, despite the arrival of Martins, Dzeko still remains as the first choice striker for the team. Man City are ready to offer 22 million euro to obtain the 23 year old striker.

Frank Ribery
The 26 year old frenchman has attracted all the big clubs in the world. With his contract going to expire at the end of this season, Bayern Munich are likely to sell him away when transfer market reopen if he didn’t pen a new contracts by then. Bayern Munich currently at 8th in the leagues, and struggling to qualify in the last 16 of the champion league, its seem unlikely Ribery will pen new contracts anytime soon. Man City are reported to have 65 million pound ready for the playmaker as Ribery can provide the lack of creative of Man City squad. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea are also monitoring Ribery situation.

Angel Di Maria
A promising youngster which backed by Maradona to become the next Argentina superstar. At the age of 21, he was included in the Argentina senior squad with the like of Messi, Aguero, Aimar, Tevez and Mascherano. At the ages of 19, he becomes a regular member in Benfica starting line-up. He was being tracked by a number of european top side including Juventus, Barcelona, Chelsea, FC Seville, Real Madrid, Valencia and Manchester United. Man City will need to outbid the rest of the contestant in order to seal the young starlet signature.

Yaya Toure
With lots of players competitng for the starting lineup, Toure doesn’t have much time on the field to perform. Currently he is rated behind Xavi, Iniesta, Keita and being used in rotation along with Busquets for the 3 midfield spots. With Barcelona constantly link up with Robinho and he appeared to be interested in Barcelona too, Man City will likely wants Yaya Toure to be include as part of the deals. Man City defender Kolo Toure believe his brother Yaya Toure can provide the stability in the midfields for the club.

Milos Krasic
He is a stars which attracted AC Milan and Real Madrid to enquiry for him last season before CSKA Moscow scare the suitor away with a £18m price tag. With his recent great champion league form, lots of club start to monitor on him again. Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd are all preparing to weight up a move for CSKA Moscow winger which valued at £9m.

With just 1 win from last 8 matches, the mood in Liverpool dressing room aren’t impressive at all. Though Torres and Gerrard are still remains doubtful and needed to pass a late fitness test in order to play, Benitez are likely going to feature them anyway. Rafael Benitez can’t afford any results other than a graceful win in order to recover.

Few of the liverpool players has recovered from injury, like Fabio Aurelio, Glen Johnson and Albert Riera, and might going to feature in Anfield tonight. £20million signing Aquilani are likely to make his debut in Anfield tonight since his arrival to Liverpool in the summer too.

Pepe Reina has been very disappointed with the Liverpool forms recently, and felt disgrace for a European top side struggling to qualify for the Champions League last 16. Benitez admits he fully understands the frustration expressed by goalkeeper Jose Reina after last week’s 1-1 draw in Lyon and urge his players to work even harder and show confidence to the team.

Liverpool record at home has always been impressive such that, for the past 4 season, they only suffer 1 lost in the league per season. Alots people and footballer has said that, the atmosphere in Anfield is totally different from other stadium, whereby Liverpool players was really not alone, their fans are their 12th players, behinds them cheering their lungs out through the match.

Liverpool’s c0-owner Tom Hicks give the clubs a morale boosts before tonight match, by stating that even the clubs fail to qualify for the next stage of the Champion League or even fail to remains in top 4 and missed out on the competition next season, Liverpool won’t be forced to sell their star players like Torres, Gerrard, Mascherano and Johnson.

No fans can tolerate their supported clubs to win only 1 match in last 8 fixture. Further more if the supporting clubs is suppose to be 1 of the european top side. Loyal fan of the red are starting to lose their cool and putting all the blame on Liverpool manager, Rafael Benitez. A 6th lost tonight shall bring Benitez closer to axeing.

What really went wrong for Liverpool?
Rafael Benitez has blamed the International fixture which cause both Torres and Gerrard to come back injured. Not really a good excuse, as a manager, Benitez didn’t bring in enough depth to the squad, too rely on these 2 players, and when they get injured, no one else in the squad are capable enough to step up the shoes.

So far Benitez haven’t been a great merchant in the transfer market, with only Torres can be counts as a great buy, only Benayoun and Reina to be consider worth their costs. The bought of Mohamed Sissoko, Jermaine Pennant, Peter Crouch, Robbie Keane, Mark Gonzalez, Craig Bellamy and Fernando Morientes all doesn’t fit into the squad. Whereby the current expensive player such as Kuyt, Babel, Lucas, Riera and Dossena which totals up more than £44 million, doesn’t live up to expectation.

Liverpool youth academy haven’t been able to produce decent player which can go into the first team since Gerrard made his debut in Nov 1998. Compare to the rest of the top 4 side, whereby Arsenal constantly having new rising star appearing, Chelsea got spending power along with enough player to form 2 teams, and Man Utd with enough depth consisting of 2 generation of player.

The sales of Xabi Alonso is appearing to be 1 of the cause of the failure of Liverpool up to now. Lucas lack of the vision and passing skill of Alonso who can test out keeper from far too. Summer new arriving Alberto Aquilani has yet to make his debut in Anfield yet. Since recovering from injury, Aquilani has been trying to keep his fitness up with reserve matches and the playing time in Carling cup against Arsenal after beign sub in.

With Steven Gerrard look likely not to be involve in tonight matches against Birmingham, Torres remains doubtful, Alberto Aquilani likely to make his debut, can he turn the tide for Liverpool to prevent a 6th defeat or first draw in the league? Most of the Liverpool fans are looking forward to his performance after he merely played 15minute and shown some quality during the carling cup.

After going 9 matches without a win, West Ham manager Zola are blessed with a win, thanks to Aston Villa’s Ashley Young missing a penalty on 49minutes and substitute Zavon Hines to strike in an injury time winning goals. This win get West Ham out of the relegation zone, sitting on 16th with 10 points.

Zola make 3 changes in the lineup from previous match against Sunderland by bringing in Scott Parker, Da Costa and Faubert to the starting lineup. Aston Villa remains the same lineup except for Beyes to come in replace of the suspended defender Cuellar who received a red card against Everton last week.

West Ham have been the better side of the match, by taking up the lead just before half time with a penalty scored by M.Noble. Aston Villa then make immediate changes at half time for Reo-Coker to replace Heskey at the break. Robert Green dived correctly to saved A.Young penalty kick on the 49 minutes. But A.Young atoned his mistake within 2 minutes by scoring in a curling strike. Aston Villa was down to 10 mens with 6 more minutes to go when Beyes received his 2nd yellow card of the match. Just when both side are about to take home a point each, Z.Hines strike in the decisive goals to bring West Ham their first home win of the season.

Shall this win be the turning point for West Ham? They will be facing low morale Everton who has yet to get a win from the previous 7 matches. The tiring Everton side will be playing their 6th matches in 3 week at Upson Park. I shall expect another win for West Ham in the coming fixture.

West Ham since promoted back to England top flight in season 05/06, have been finished in top half of the table 3 out of 4 seasons. With former Chelsea star player Gianfranco Zola taking over the manager role from Alan Curbishley in Sep 08, he managed to finish the season at 9th place, 2 points better than their previous season.

West Ham started this season opening match with a graceful 2-0 victory away at Wolverhampton. But since then, they only managed to get 4 points out of the next 9 matches. The worst was last match where they actually lead 2-0 first before entering half time with the scoreline of 2-1 with Sunderland’s Jone being send off. But Richardson managed to equalise on the 76th minute for Sunderland to get 1 points.

West Ham will face Aston Villa tonight with a win will moved them out of the relegation zone, while on the other hand, a win for Aston Villa will see them get into top 4. Both side key striker C.Cole and G.Agbonlahor have enjoy a good start with 6 and 5 goals respectively and hopeful to be part of the team for Capello World Cup campaign.

West Ham will be without Dyer, Ashton and Boa Morte but welcome back captain Scott Parker after serving one-match ban. Aston Villa will be without Downing who yet to make his debut and S.Davis, with Milner and Petrov remains doubtful and likely to be feature on Saturday against Bolton at home instead. I predicting a 1-1 draw for this one.

England are 1 of the 3 nations which has 4 teams representing in the Champion League with top 2 from their league automatic qualify into the group phrase while 3rd and 4th of the league need to go through qualifying. But England as usual along with Italy and Spain, all the 4 clubs of their country managed to get into the CL group stages.

So far after 3 matches in the group phrase, only Liverpool doesn’t share the same fate with the rest. Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal all topped their group at the moment, with 9 points, 9 points and 7 points respectively. Liverpool only managed to get 3 points out of 3 matches, sitting on 3rd, behind Lyon and Fiorentina.

Last night results shown the current top 2 in EPL, Chelsea and Man Utd being held to a 2-2 and 3-3 draw against Aletico Madrid and CSKA Moscow. Both Chelsea and Man Utd come back from behind to get the points. Can Liverpool and Arsenal do a better job tonight against the like of Lyon and AZ Alkmaar.

It will be a do-or-die mission for Liverpool, as Fiorentina is likely to pick up 3 points from Debrecen. It will be a 6 points gap to 2nd with just 2 remaining matches left, if they fail to get a win out of Lyon. Liverpool has sufferd one of their worst row of form in recent history, to lost 6 of their last 7 matches, but surprisingly the only win was played against Man Utd. By going into this match by conceding 5 goals in last 2 matches and without their captain S.Gerrard, I predict a 2-2 draw for it.

On the other hand, Arsenal goes into this match with high morale after just defeating Spurs 3-0 and Liverpool 2-1 within a weeks. Striker Van Persie is on fire too, scoring 7 goals in last 7 matches. Arsenal home record this season so far have been magnificent, 9 out of 9 win, scoring a total of 29 goals and conceded just 6 goals. So i predict a 3-0 clear win for Arsenal.

Losing a total of just 2 games in their last season campaign, Liverpool started this season of 3 matches with already 2 loss to Tottenham 1-2 in the season opening matches and 1-3 loss against Aston Villa in Anfield which break off Liverpool 31 game unbeaten straight at home.

But their form seem returning with a straight row of 4 wins with a 16 goals scored. A consecutive hat-trick in Anfield was being made by Benayou against Burnley then followed by Torres against Hull City. Torres also found back his form by netting 5 goals in 2 matches to top the scorer chart with 8 goals, 2 clear off the 3 man below, Drogba, Rooney and Bent netting 6 goals now.

Another factor of Liverpool recent form is also due to the manager Rafael Benitez tactics, whereby no more rotation squad is being featured in the lineup. Out of the previous 5 match, there only a total of 13 different players for the starting 11, whereby Kyrgiakos is being dropped after a disappointing debut which conceded 2 goals to Bolton, and Mascherano is being rested in the previous match ahead of champion league clash with Fiorentina.

A tough week coming ahead for Liverpool, as they going for 2 straight away match within 5 days against 2 big team, Fiorentina and Chelsea. Both Fiorentina and Chelsea has so far 100% winning record, 3 out of 3 win at home in this new season.

With Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabiansky out injured, Arsene Wenger has to rely on their third choice goalkeepers Vito Mannone. But his performance at the Craven Cottage turned out to be first rated.

Throughout the match, he made a total of 8 saves, with some vital saves such as one-handed save at point-blank from Andrew Johnsen’s header and then follow up another save with his face bravely against Clint Dempsey shots. He was then voted as Man of the Match by keeping a cleansheets against a better side of the day.

So far he only managed to start 4 time for Arsenal, with the last match of last season against Stoke, and the recently 3 match whereby the top 2 keeper choice is being out injured, but all 4 matches manage to end with Arsenal winning.

With the latest 2 matches against Wigan and Fulham, he managed to make quite a number of impressive saves and maintain cleansheets. So a £350k compensation fee, where Wenger paid for him in 2005 summer really seem like a steal. At the age of 21, what he need is to be on the field earning precious experience than sitting on the bench. Can he be the next Buffon for the Italian squad in the future?

Last weekend, we saw 1 of the biggest World Cup qualifying clash when Argentina hosted Brazil in Rosario Central. A match between 2 coach, Dunga and Maradona, who has each captained their side during their player time and lead their team to win an honourable World Cup Medal in 1986 and 1994 respectively. Its also a battle between Kaka and Messi, key players of spanish biggest rival Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Before the match took place, Brazil was sitting top of the table with 1 point clear from Chile who is at 26 points after 14 matches. Argentina was 5 points behind Brazil, holding on to the last automatic qualifying spot in the group. Its was clear that Argentina will go for no other results than a wins, while on the other hand, a draw for Brazil is enough as they will comfortable maintain their chance of qualify for the World Cup.

Argentina eventually lost the match 1-3 to Brazil, with Luisao scored the opening goal for Brazil with a header at 23min, then Fabiano scored at the half hour mark, Datolo long shot goals gave the host some hope on the 65min, but within a minute, Fabiano added 1 more to make a brace with a fast counter attack and ended Argentina hope.

After the victory on Saturday, Brazil become the first South American team to book their place in the World Cup 2010. With Chile draw with Venezuela, Brazil now sitting comfortably at the top with 3 points lead and superior goal different. Fate is still not so cruel to Argentina, as Ecuador was beaten 2-0 by Colombia, and both of them are lying on the 5th and 6th spot with the same 20 points, just 2 points behind Argentina for the qualifying spot. Rumour and doubt start to arise in the football nation whether Maradona should leave his post.

But the biggest loser in this matches are not Argentina but Man City. While Man City preparing a showdown with Arsenal on this Saturday, 2 of their key players, Carlos Tevez and Robinho are back with an injury. Tevez suffured a twisted right knee while Robinho picked up a thigh injury during the match. Mark Hughes might have to rely on Bellamy and Benjani to lead the attack against Arsenal now. Man City are 1 of the only 3 teams which still maintaining all wins straights, and the only team which haven’t concede any goals yet. A victory for Man City in the coming match will greatly increase their chance on finishing in the top 4.
