Franco Di Santo

Franco Di Santo is a 20 year old striker who represent in Argentina U-20 squad. Once a hot prospect in Argentina whereby he scored 19 goals in 17 matches before making a switch from Audax Italiano to Chelsea. In Chelsea he doesn’t have any chance to perform with the like of Drogba, Anelka, Shevchenko and Pizarro around. He has play for Chelsea on 8 occasion which all as substitute and total up less than 120 minutes on pitch.
He then make a 6 months loan spell to Blackburn with option to extend 6 more months on 3rd Aug 09 in search for more regular football than remain in Stamford Bridge. With the departure of Roque Santa Cruz, Di Santo will have a better chance in rivaling Samba and Roberts for the role to partner Benni McCarthy upfront. I think a player of his talent shouldn’t waste his time on bench but to spend time on pitch and improve instead, he is just 20 year old, 1 year younger than Aguero, Argentina future might rely on hm.
Fabio Daprela

A natural left back with great prospect, he make into Grasshopper starting lineup at the age of 16. He was part of the Swiss U-17 squad and U-19 squad, which combined 7 goals from 21 appearance, which is good amounts of goals for a defender.
He was bought for a nominal fee from Grasshopper as a cover to first choice Left Back Herita Ilunga who signed permenant 4 year deal after impress during last season loan in West Ham this summer. Can he impress and get into the lineup during next season?
Steve Finnan

Former Liverpool Right Back Steve Finnan is going to make a return back to BPL after a disappointing season with Espanyol suffuring injury for most of the period which limits him to make only few appearance for his new club. He signed for Portsmouth on a free transfer on 31th July in a 1 year deal.
He was bought to replace the missing role of Glen Johnson who left for Liverpool. The 33 year old Irish international veteran defender has lots of experience to offer as he previously spent 8 season in the English top flight with both Fulham and Liverpool. A return in form and fitness might see him get call up for his country which stands good chance in qualify for World Cup 2010.
