Drogba Injury Time Seal The Victory For Chelsea

Chelsea’s Ancelotti started with the lineup with just 1 changes make from the Community Shield last Satursday with Bosingwa replaced Ivanovic in right back position. While Hull City put in 3 debutant in the starting lineup, Mouyokolo, Olofinjana and Hunt all bought in the summer. Chelsea has so far won all their season opening match for the past 7 season in a row. A title challenger team vs a relegation survival team, odd are obvious.
The match started off with a first minute Drogba goal scoring chance being wasted at 10 yard. But it was Hull City who scored the opening goals at 28th minutes by this week new signing Stephen Hunt by picking up a deflected ball into the open net. Drogba then scored on the 37th minutes with an awesome freekick into bolton right corner of the net, Myhill got no chances of saving that. With the game going into the injury time, Phil Brown thought they will has 1 points into their bag, but fourth official put up a 6 minutes injury time, which suddenly seem to revive Chelsea hope. It was on the 91min, Drogba go into the left side of the box penalty and scored a difficult angle goals.
3 points for Chelsea in their opening match, they deserved it. Chelsea has dominate the whole game with 70% possession, 14 corners, 33 shots with 10 on targets. Drogba shall be forgiven by the fans with missing quite a number of good scoring chances with 10 shots to get his 2 goals that bags Chelsea the 3 points.
