John Carew inspire Aston Villa to a 5-1 win over Bolton, by setting up 3 goals and convert 1 in by himself with Aston Villa missed a penalty, 2nd time in the week. Both substitute Jason Roberts and Ryan Nelsen fought back for Blackburn in the 2nd half after coming 1-0 down at the break to earn themselves 3 precious points with the scoreline of 3-1 at the final whistle.

Man City failed to get the 3 points after coming back into the game from 2-0 down with 3 goals in 15 minutes, but conceded a late goal to Kevin McDonald at 87minutes to finish the game with a 3-3 draw. Under-fire Hull manager Phil Brown can finally breathe a sigh of relief for now, as his side come back from behind after the break to win 2-1 by an injury time strike from the dutchman Hesselink and this was just their 3rd win in 33 league games, West Ham went back in the relegation zone after a 2-1 defeat at home to Everton. Wigan and Fulham both picked up a point with a 1-1 draw, both goals scored in the first half.

The big match of the week was Chelsea vs Man Utd at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea captain John Terry glanced home the winning goal from Lampard free kick at 76th-minute. Both Berbertov and Ferdinand was not included in the lineup, while Vidic sit on the bench.
