Sunderland Captain leaving for Stoke City?

New of £3million agreement deal has been made, are being spread around. Are Sunderland captain Dean Whitehead going to be Stoke City first signing in the Summer? He has been previously link with Stoke City, Fulham, Ipswich and West Brom since last summer. He has been in Sunderland for 5 season and play a big role in the championship title in 06/07 for the return to EPL.

A loyal servant i would said about Whitehead, would be a bad move if Sunderland really decided to offload him to Stoke, loss for Sunderland but gain for stoke then.
